Mrs. Aida Raboteau-Biggs, 91, of Pass Christian passed away July 24, 2011. She was a resident of California for 53 years before returning to the Coast. She was very talented and took great pleasure with her many crafts. She was skilled with knitting, sewing, and crocheting; and loved animals, travelling and the casino. Aida was known for her Rosaries which she made for individuals and Missions around the world. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Oscar Biggs, her parents, Eddie and Jospehine Saucier-Raboteau. She had no children of her own, but was instrumental in rearing her nephews, Larry, Leon and Rodney Biggs, Dereck Dedeaux and Kenneth Youngblood. She is survived by her loving nieces, Mary Richmond and Jessica Dedeaux, a cousin Mary Washington and host of other special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Wed. July 27 at Our Mother of Mercy, Pass Christian. The family has entrusted her final care to RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
