Andreaetta West

Andreaetta “Ann” Vincent West, 73, a resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away June 27, 2018. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 4, 1945, to Eddie and Irma Robins Vincent. Andreaetta attended Carver Senior High School in New Orleans, Louisiana and eventually moved to Los Angeles, California to live with her Aunt Mabel and Uncle Ernest Wright. Andreaetta began her career at Nabisco Corporation in Los Angeles. After leaving California in 1985, she moved back to New Orleans and worked at the Times-Picayune Newspaper Company, where she met the love of her life Anthony James West. Ann and Anthony were married on May 25, 1996, in Biloxi, MS, where they made their home for the past 22 years. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Irma and Eddie Vincent, her twin sons who died at birth, her niece Robyn Antonia Vincent, her grandmother Irena Johntie Jones and her mother-in-law Lillian Chapital West. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Anthony West, brother Richard Byron Vincent (Sandra DeArmas Vincent), nieces Shannon Vincent- Raymond (Eric) and Richella Vincent- Lee (Ephron), her Aunt Mabel Robins Wight and Uncle Ernest Wright, brothers-in-law Alonzo, Leslie (Anglea) and Clifford (Andrea) West and sisters-in-law Vanessa Richburg, Angele Butler and Jeanene Jenkins, her Godchild Chanel Dale, a special cousin Stella Louise Griffin and a host of other close cousins, relatives, and friends. Andreaetta was always great fun and lived life to the fullest without hesitation or reservation. Through all her trials and tribulations as she battled her health issues, she always had a funny story, a laughable moment, or a story of past times that ended with laughter. We pray she is no longer in pain and is resting in eternal peace. Ann will be greatly missed by all. Celebration of life services for Andreaetta Vincent West will be held Friday, July 6, 2018, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS with burial immediately following at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
