Annie M. Flowers

Annie “Ann” was born March 4, 1931, in Chicago, IL to the union of William and Sadie Redmound. She grew up in Knoxville, TN. Ann had an ear for music and when she became old enough began playing the piano for churches in the area. Ann completed her high school education and went on to attend Tennessee State and received her degree in business administration. Ann Moved back to Chicago where she worked in the court system. In 1970 she relocated to Los Angeles, CA to work for the federal government. Ann retired after 37 years and 7 months of service. Ann loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends, and a good basketball game. Ann never had any children of her own but she loved all her nieces and nephew as if she birthed them. She will tremendously be missed. Ann was preceded in death by her parents William and Sadie Remound: a sister, Bernell Bunkley, brothers, Donald Nelson and William Redmound, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories a brother, Floyd (Evelyn) Redmound of Garland, Tx; A sister Betty (Frierson) Campbell of Biloxi, MS; And a host of nieces and nephews whom lover her dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 am. Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
