Annie Lois �Honey� Gordon, 60 of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away May 1, 2014. Annie was born October 9, 1953 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Mr. Eirtis and Mrs. Bessie McKay, Sr. Ms. Annie was a graduate of 33rd Avenue High School in Gulfport. After working various jobs cooking, Ms. Annie pursued her passion of cooking and became self-employed cooking and delivering plates. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandkids. Ms. Annie loved watching Sci-Fi movies and talking on the phone with her nieces. She will be remembered fondly for her dressing and hot banana pudding and as always wanting, �a little somethin� sweet.� She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Hopkins. Ms. Annie is survived by, one brother, Eirtis (Ann) McKay, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; two sons, Darron (Adrian) Turner and Raymond (Francesca) McKay; two daughters, Gelisa (Joe) McKay-Joseph and Andrea McKay all of Gulfport, MS. She also leaves to cherish her memory thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11:00am at Greater Grace Apostolic Assembly, 394 Forest Ave. Biloxi, Mississippi with visitation one hour before. The family of Ms. Annie Lois Gordon has entrusted her care to the professional staff of Richmond-August Funeral Home.
