Dear Micah, You are my 4th child, but the first to make it home to heaven. As you look down on me from Heaven, know that my heart longs for you. I have had dreams of holding you as a baby, helping you walk as a toddler, taking you to your first day of school, helping you with your homework, watching you graduate from high school and achieving a higher education, and getting married and having kids. I dreamed of raising you up in church, showing you the right way to live and ultimately providing you a better hand in life than I was dealt. I wanted to give you something I never had... A Father. But the reality is I will never hold you, see you crawl then take you first steps, laugh and play: I will never hold your hand as an infant and watch you stand as a man, watch life knock you down only to see you stand again. I named you because of how it sounds not knowing the meanig was so profound, "to be like God." The cause of your death was a 1% chance so literally you were one in a million. 1 Corinthians 7:14 gave me peace of mind knowing that you were saved because of our sanctified life. So when I prayed to God the other night, asking him why did you have to die? His reply was Dale please dry your eyes, I got Micah right here by my side. Our God is sovreign and He knows what's best and He decided to give you an early rest. So Son, till we meet for the first time bye for now, but never forever.
