Bessie Wesley entered this life on October 29, 1925 in Newton, Mississippi. She was born to the late Johnnie and Lottie Hardy Jordan. She attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Newton, Mississippi. Bessie was married the late Woodrow Wesley Two later moved to Gulfport, MS. She worked as a cook in Head Start for over 30 years until she retired. She attended church at St. James Baptist Church in Gulfport, Mississippi, until her illness no longer allowed her to. She then moved to Moss Point, MS where she departed this life on December 23, 2014 at We Care Hospice in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Woodrow Wesley, her daughter Lovie Mae Hinton; her grandson Marvin James Hutchins; her parents Lottie Hardy Jordan, Johnnie Jordan Sr., and Step- mother Ida Mae Jordan; her brothers Pringle Jordan Sr., Johnnie Jordan Jr., Walter Jordan, Archie Lee Jordan, and Howard Jordan; her sisters Claudia Dee Dukes and Georgia Nell Moore and her �son-in-law� Torrance Ross. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters Juanita (Willie James) Hutchins of Moss Point, MS; and Martha Wesley of Gulfport, MS, and her sons Robert (Bruh) Earl Wesley and Charles Earl Wesley of Gulfport, MS. Her grandchildren Sonja Jones, Calvin Hutchins, LaVette Brown, Darrin Hutchins, Charlene Hutchins, Melissa Wesley, and Michelle Wesley, her brother Albert ( Mattie Lue) Jordan, her sister Carolyn (Jerry) Anderson, 19 Great grandchildren, and 3 Great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and various other relatives, she truly will be missed by many. Her close friends Lula Mae Jordan and Minnie Williams.
