Willis �BUD� Ross, Jr. was born January 19, 1944 to Willis Ross, Sr. and Dorothy Ross. Bud loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed Softball, Cruisin� the Coast, especially the Hot Rods, Jazz Music and the Blues. Always active, Bud was a member of VFW #6731 where he served as Past Commander and Cootie; American Legion, Moose Lodge #332, Order of the Golden Eagles, and was a member of the Gulf Coast Musician Association. Early in his career, Bud served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later retired from the Yellow Cab Company and was also employed with Imperial Palace Security. Bud departed this life Saturday March 16, 2013; but will forever remain in our hearts. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Ross, Sr. and Dorothy Ross and one daughter, Sheila Kaye Davis-Ross. He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Katherine (Eric) Harden; one sister, Janice Ross Daams, three brothers; Wayne (Betty Jo) Ross, Stanley (Trisha) Ross and Jerome Ross; three granddaughters whom he lovingly referred to as his �Pasadena Princesses� Maggie, Corrine, and Amanda; his long-time companion, Lenda Winterstein and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members too numerous to count! Services for Willis �BUD� Ross, Jr. will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the D�Iberville VFW Hall at 4321 W. Gay Road in D�Iberville. Visitation from 11:00AM � 12 noon with services immediately following. A graveside service and interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30PM. Refreshments will be served at the VFW Hall following the interment.
