Bunia Faye Franklin

Mrs. Bunia Faye Franklin, 58, a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away, July 31, 2016, in Gulfport, MS. She was born in June 10, 1958, in Prentiss, MS, the daughter of the late Lillie Mae and David Lee Oatis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Franklin; her parents; a son, Herbert Franklin; two sisters, Mary N. Smith, and Lillie R. Oatis; and four brothers, Ervin J. Oatis, Claude J. Oatis, David Oatis, Jr., and Alvin Oatis. Bunia Faye is survived by two sons, Senica Franklin, and Asa Franklin; five sisters, Sarah Neil Bourne, Angelean Coleman, Carolyn O. Lewis, Mable Smith James, and Debra E. Mayers; a brother, Ricky Oatis; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
