Chiquita S. Jones

Chiquita Sophia Jones, 27, of Pascagoula passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. She was born February 22, 1986 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Gloria Jones-Scott and Randolph Robinson. Chiquita attended Moss Point High School and was a member of the 2004 graduating class. She was a licensed cosmetologist and was employed with Popeye�s Fried Chicken. Chiquita was a loving and devoted mother whose great joy in life was her son Christopher �C.J.� She spent many hours at C.J.�s baseball and football games, proudly cheering him on and took pleasure in his every accomplishment. Chiquita was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roosevelt and Rosie L. Jones and an uncle, Melvin E. Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Christopher D. Nelson, mother, Gloria Jones-Scott and father, Randolph Robinson; three brothers, Randolph Jones, Marlon Morris and Randy Richardson; five sisters, Tara Wiley, Randie (Warren) Jones, Sharon Dulces, Bonnie Stanton, Donchelle Stanton; two nieces and numerous uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. Services will be held, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00AM with visitation one hour before. The family of Ms. Chiquita S. Jones has entrusted her care to the professional staff of Richmond-August Funeral Home.
