Christopher Lee Toliver, 47, a resident of Gulfport Mississippi, passed away, March 18, 2019, at Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Jackson Mississippi, October 27, 1971, the Son of Cleo Toliver and Patricia Golsby. Chris graduated from Vicksburg High School and attended Alcorn State University.
Chris spent his working career as a cook for Gulf Coast Medical Center and Biloxi Regional Medical Center for over 20 years. Chris was awarded a certificate and received a monetary gift for saving someone’s life by performing the Heimlich Maneuver at his job. He was also an avid Billiards player, loved to fish, was a Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints fan, and he was also a person who loved his movies, especially martial arts and Anime.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Toliver.
Chris is survived by his mother, Patricia Wright; his brothers: Noland Toliver (Kathy), Quincy Bailey, Dennis Wright (Jackie), and Prince Wright (Girlfriend Kayla), his sisters: Monica Lemon (Marc), Ashley Toliver, and Alicia Toliver, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. We can’t fail to mention his best and closest friends: Bill Wilson, Johnny Lowe, and Dustin Benscooter.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Richmond August Funeral Home.
