Connie Fowler

Ms. Connie Tillie Mae Haynes-Fowler, of Poplarville, MS, passed away February 15, 2016, at Specialty Hospital in Gulfport, MS. She was born in Gulfport, MS, February 9, 1956, the daughter of Louis and Bridie Haynes. Connie graduated from Bay High School in Bay St. Louis, MS, and attended Pearl River College, Poplarville, MS. Connie spent her working career at the Movie Star Factory in Poplarville as a seamstress for over 25 years. She was a founding member of the Charity Club Esperanza. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bridie Haynes; her grandparents, Lexie & Tillie Mae Haynes; and one brother, Louis Dexter Haynes. Connie is survived by 2 brothers, Samuel Lee Pope and Lexie (Myra) Haynes; 2 sisters, Myra Haynes and Janis Haynes-Tatum; one aunt, Ester Acker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
