Curtis Graham, Jr. was born on March 15, 1930 in Wayne County, Mississippi. He was
the son of the late Curtis Sr. and Pearly Gilmore-Graham. He attended school in Wayne
County, MS. His family later moved to Albany NY and in 1953, he was drafted into the
United Stated Army and served as a Military Policeman until he was honorably
discharged in 1955. He became a construction worker and continued in this line of work
until 1989.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Joseph Graham
and Genoris Graham. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 36 years, Willie
Dale Patton-Graham of Gulfport, MS: his sons Curtis Graham (Angelia) of D’Iberville,
MS; Michael Moulton of Schenectady, NY; Anthony Terrell Patton of Gulfport, MS and
Michael D. Patton (Terry) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; Two daughters, Dr. Allanda
Small-Campbell (Kevin) of Mobile, AL and Brandy D. Kelly of Hurst, TX; One sister,
Mary Catherine Graham of Albany, NY and brother, Lee (Willie) Graham of Albany,
NY. Seven brother-in-laws: Henry & Clara McCann of Albany, NY; James & Lucille
McCann of Gulfport MS; Robert & Lovie Thompson of Gulfport, MS; Warren &
Carolyn Patton of Dallas, TX; George Montgomery of Dallas TX; Tommy Patton of
Lawton, OK; Alexander Patton of Waynesboro, MS and five sister-in-laws: Weter &
John Earl of Albany, NY; Faye & Curtis McFarland of Waynesboro, MS; Beatrice
Everett of Waynesbro, MS; Marilyn Kelly of Las Vegas, Nevada; Eretta & Leroy
Hartfield of Hattiesburg, MS and ten grandsons, four granddaughters, two great-
granddaughters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Curtis' church affiliation(s) include: Wilborn Temple Church (COGIC) of Albany NY, Tabernacle
of Prayer (COGIC) in Hattiesburg, MS and most recently, Progressive Missionary Baptist
Church of Gulfport, MS.
Brother Graham loved God, family, food, work, music and was an avid fan of
professional wrestling. The family of Mr. Curtis Graham, Jr. has entrusted his care to the
professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
