Mr. Daniel Lee Mayers was born August 25, 1965 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Mr. William and Mrs. Bertha Mayers. He departed this life on Saturday June 11, 2011 in Gulfport, Mississippi. Mr. Mayers was a life-long resident of Gulfport. He attended Gulfport Public schools and was a member of The Venture House. Daniel was an outgoing, people person who loved smiling and being outdoors. He cared deeply for his mother and brought joy to his family and friends. Mr. Mayers leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Bertha Mayers of Gulfport, brothers, Willie �Skimp� Mayers of Brandon, Mississippi; Cedrick Mayers of Gulfport, MS; sisters Emma Mayers of Long Beach, California; Linda Burks, Brenda Mayers, Tessie Mayers and Cynthia Mayers all of Gulfport; and Patricia Mayers of Brandon, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
