DeAndre' Roshel Westbrooks was born in Biloxi, MS, October 10, 1991 to Petrinia Westbrooks and Claymoore Fields. God called a soldier home on March 31, 2012. DeAndre' was an active member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in D'Iberville, MS under the leadership of Pastor Randy Farwell. Before graduating from St. Martin High School in May 2011, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He attended basic training (Advanced Individual Training - A.I.T.) specializing in transportation coordination. DeAndre' was very active in sports at St. Martin High School and was well known for his abilities in Track & Field, football, and basketball. Always an inspiration to others, he sponsored a little league team of 20 first graders (Mrs. Cooper's class) from 2009-2010 at St. Martin North East Elementary. He inspired a multitude of people with his determination and strong will to succeed. He also received countless Sports Awards and medals. Great and precious memories will be forever held and cherished by his family; a loving mother, Petrinia Westbrooks; his father, Claymoore Fields; his stepfather, Maurice Batey; one sister; T'Kehea Westbrooks; two nieces, Aubre' and Phath; his grandmother, Edna Evans; three aunts, Sheena (Espy) Brimage, Brandice Payton, and Candice (Lamar) Payton; also a host of nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an abundance of friends. Funeral services will be held at Greater Grace Apostolic Assembly in Biloxi, Friday, April 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour before. The family of DeAndre' Roshel Westbrooks has entrusted his care to the professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
