Mrs. Deon A. James, age 45, of Biloxi entered her eternal rest Friday, December 30, 2011. Deon was born on July 4, 1966 to Ms. Beverley Williams and Mr. Leslie James in St. Thomas, Jamaica. After moving to the Biloxi area, Deon worked for various casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her husband, especially when taking her youngest kids fishing and shopping. Deon leaves to cherish her memory, Rodney L. James, her devoted husband of Biloxi; seven children Tishauna Taylor, Fitzroy Taylor, and Kemar Willis of St. Thomas, Jamaica, Charles Francis and Richard Francis of Tampa, FL., Safia L. James and Sandean Ricketts of Biloxi, MS.; her parents, Beverley Williams and Leslie James of St. Thomas, Jamaica; one sister Lesa Thomas of Columbia, SC.; four brothers Byron James, Clifton James, Kareem Thomas of St. Thomas, Jamaica, and Gary Thomas of Gulfport, MS.; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A special thanks is extended to her devoted friend Mrs. Glendora (Gwen) Murray. Deon believed strongly in two sciptures, �I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.� II Timothy 4:7. Also, �For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God.� Job 19:25-26. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
