Deon Antonio DeRamus Sr., 38, a resident of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, passed away, March 30, 2024, at Ocean Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama on February 16, 1986, the son of Deon Timmons and Trina DeRamus. Deon (Tony) graduated from Billingsley High School in 2004. Tony married Jennifer Olah on December 16, 2009.
Tony spent his working career in the United States Marine Corps working in Telephone System/Personnel and Computer Repair. During his tenure with the Corps, he served two tours in Iraq, Operation Iraqi Freedom and one tour in Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom. He also received numerous awards and accolades. After his service with the Marine Corps, Tony worked for various security jobs for Ingalls, Mississippi Aquarium and Holley Morisch Security. Tony enjoyed sipping on a good Whiskey, the teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Michael Angelo being his favorite, and anything dealing with Marvel characters; Batman being his absolute favorite. Tony enjoyed playing football or basketball, but what he enjoyed above all these things, was his nutty buddy “little Debbie” bars and chocolate chip cookies.
Tony was preceded in death by his Great-grandmother Ms. Willie Mae Timmons, his grandmother Ms. Wornie Mae Timmons.
Tony is survived by his Wife Jennifer DeRamus; His father Deon Timmons (Tammy) and his Mother Trina DeRamus-Mitchell (Cedric): His grandfathers, Sterling DeRamus (Annette) and Willie DeRamus Sr. and his grandmother, Willie Mae Lucas. Four Brothers and Five Sisters: John Crockham, D’Vaughn Mitchell, Terrell Bailey (Dayanara), Tiesha Lacy, Deontrae Hebert, DeonMonique Timmons, DeonSha Timmons, and KaraVictorian. Three Children: De’Angelo, Briana, and Deon DeRamus Jr., many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel in Biloxi with visitation one hour before.
