Dianne Williams

Dianne Thompson Williams, 54, a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away, August 19, 2016, from heart failure. She was born in Prentiss, MS on January 4, 1962, the daughter of Levern Thompson and Ionia Ducksworth. She was the first born of five children and she knew she was oldest as “she meant business”. Dianne accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago. Serving her Lord and Savior was her passion. She was a devoted mother who loved her family dearly. She loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends. Her smile lit the room. Many knew her as Dianne, the quiet lady who sit back, relax and never bothered anyone “true indeed this she was” however her family knew her as a gentle spirit with a loud roar. Family was everything to her. Her unity with her children was remarkable. All knew her motto “One for all or all for one”. Dianne loved the Lord and knew she was the princess of a King. She knew her family loved her. She knew serving God was her assignment and we know she is now resting in heaven in her father's arms. She is survived by her Mother, Ionia Ducksworth; her Father, Levern Thompson; four children, Kendra Tilisha Thompson, Danell Elante Thompson, Larona Marscell Thompson and Jackiquline Chantel Williams; eight loving grandchildren, Devarus Elante Thompson, Julibia Demetres Williams, Dayshawn Elante Thompson, Marcus Howard Peterson, Teashia Chantel Wilson, Madison Nicole Taylor, Markell TaShawn Peterson, Jerren Isiah Thompson, BayBoone DeMarcus Wilson Jr. and Sa'Mari Dannell Thompson; one sister, Tracy Epting; three brothers, John Thompson, Eddie Butler, Greg Hill; and a host of other siblings, relatives, and friends.
