Efraim Diaz, Sr., born July 20, 1946 in Puerto Rico, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Gulfport.
Mr. Diaz grew up in Brooklyn, NY and was a retired minister. He was a former educator in the field of drug and alcohol abuse at the house of Serenity in Sacramento, CA.
He was a member of the International Church of Worship, where he served as Associate Pastor and Sunday School Educator. He was a past member of the Alcohol Free America Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emily and Fernando Mendez; and brothers, Victor and Antonio Diaz.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kari H. Diaz; two sons, Efraim Diaz, Jr. and Matthew H. Diaz; four daughters, Liza M. Rivas, Terri Lynn Borst, Sarah M. Lacy, and Sierra R. Carr; two brothers, Philip Diaz (Rosa) and Fernando Mendez, Jr. (Wanda); 15 grand-children; and eight great grandchildren.
