Ernest "Bo" Taylor, age 81, a resident of D'Iberville passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Bo was born March 28, 1941, in the Bluff Creek community of Jackson County to Roy Taylor and Annie Waltman. He retired from Harrison County Road Dept, where he held many different titles throughout the years. He enjoyed gardening and then supplying everyone with cucumbers.
Growing up on the back bay, he had the perfect form for throwing the cast net. He always ensured his daughters had some animal while growing up, whether it was a cat, rabbit, duck, or chicken, even the rooster that would chase you through the yard, which he found entertaining to see who could make it to the porch the quickest; clearly, these animals were for him, and he just used his daughters as an excuse to bring another animal home. However, his favorite pastime was checking his eyelids for holes. Bo was a big kid himself, and when given a chance, he would pick on you and laugh about it. Oh, how that laugh is going to be missed.
Bo is preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Taylor, his parents, and siblings. Left to cherish his memories and life lessons are his daughters Jessica (Judson) Necaise and Krystal (Joe) Allen. His grandson Brent Simpson, granddaughters Emma Necaise, Angeliah and Sophia Allen. Special nieces Rhonda (Bairn) Conley and Shannon (Steve) Thompson and a slew of other nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Deaconess Home Health (Jennifer) and Hospice (Rose and Jackie) for their care.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Old Biloxi Cemetery.
