On December 15, 2019, God called His child Eula Mae Galloway home. She passed away peacefully at age 92 surround by her family.
Eula Mae and her twin sister Lula Turner were born in Selma, AL on December 29, 1926, to James Wooten and Chestine (Wooten) Coleman. At age 18, she moved to Ocean Springs where she later met and married Frank Galloway, Sr. In 1949 they moved to Logan, VA so that Frank could work the coal mines. They lived there for a few years until Frank sustained an injury while working the mines. They decided to move their growing family back to Mississippi where Eula Mae worked as a housekeeper to support her children. She continued working until age 90 when the family could finally convince her to rest. She spent her time watching her favorite old westerns, the Atlanta Braves, and her beloved New Orleans Saints. She was a lifelong and devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS.

Eula Mae was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She loved being surrounded by her four generations of family. Eula Mae will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a great example of a person that everyone should model themselves after. If she could tell us anything it would be to stay connected and help one another.
