Felicia A. Culberson, 50, was summoned to eternal rest on Thursday, August 2, 2012. She was born February 25, 1962 in Gulfport, MS and was the second oldest of nine children born to Ralph and Verlean Culberson. Felicia was a graduate of Gulfport High School's Class of 1980. She received a Bachelor�s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and spent her entire career in healthcare. Felicia truly enjoyed being a nurse. She worked at USA Medical Center in Mobile, AL; Driftwood Nursing Home and The Boyington Nursing Home both in Gulfport, MS. She was also employed with Professional Home Health and Gulf Coast Medical Center both in Biloxi, MS. Felicia worked for Gulfport Memorial Hospital for the past 9 years. She will be greatly missed by her fellow co-workers. Those who knew Felicia knew that if she wasn�t visiting her grandchildren, her two favorite things to do were reading and playing bingo with her big brother Ray. Ms. Felicia Culberson was preceded in death by her son Sean Ray Edward Quinton Culberson, mother Verlean Culberson, brother, Roy E. Culberson, grandparents Allen (Mary) Culberson and Marshall Howard. She is survived by her father, Ralph (Barbara)Culberson of Gulfport, MS ; her maternal grandmother, Annie Bell Howard of Tylertown, MS; two daughters, Lasheena M. Culberson of Houston, TX and Lakecia (Charles)Culberson Hall of Houston, TX; one son, Stefan Culberson of Gulfport, MS; two grandsons, Raishon Stefan Hall-Culberson and Meachem Dornell Quinton Hall of Houston, TX; one granddaughter, Brieana Janae Wooten of Houston, TX; four sisters, Theresa Boykin, Doris Culberson, Carol Culberson, Denisa Culberson , all of Gulfport, MS; three brothers, Ray (Linda) Culberson of Gulfport, MS, Rudolph Culberson of Gulfport, MS, and Robert (Veronica) Culberson of Slidell, LA; an adopted brother Howard Darron Cameron of Pass Christian, MS, an adopted sister Monica Lynn Johnson, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ms. Felicia A. Culberson will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Mount Bethel Baptist Church 2100 30th Avenue, Gulfport, MS at 11:00am with visitation one hour before. The family has entrusted care of their loved one to the caring, professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
