Furman Pearson, Sr., 79, a resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away, on December 9, 2022. 

He was born in Biloxi, on July 24, 1943, to Willie Pearson, Sr., and Annie Mae Pearson. 

Furman relocated to New York as a teenager with a couple of his older siblings. He was employed with the Stage barbershop and then ConEdison Electric Company for more than 20 years. He loved to dance, and bowl. Always a people person, Furman had an infectious sense of humor. 

He met the lady who would become his wife, the former Miss Barbara Jordan at The Palladium in New York, NY. The two were united in holy matrimony on July 22, 1967. To this union, two sons were born; Furman Pearson Jr., and Anthony “Tony” Darrell Pearson

Later in life, Furman relocated back to Biloxi in order to care for his mother. Back on the Coast, Furman began working as a custodian at Nichols Junior High and then as a landscaper. 

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 am.  Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
