Georgette M. Thomas

Georgette M. Thomas, 77, a resident of Biloxi, MS passed away, March 16, 2020, at Ocean Springs Hospital. Georgette loved life and will be remembered for her joyous smile and kind spirit. She especially loved sitting on her front porch observing the goings-on around her. She worked at Fernwood Middle School for 30 years as a cook. Her favorite hobby was playing bingo and knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Thomas and Mildred Thomas; two sisters, Eileen Grace and Shirley Lumpkins; two brothers, Odell Hughes and Bobby Thomas; and her beloved Godchild, George Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers, Frank (Suzanne) Thomas of Truro, Massachusetts, and Bernard Thomas of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Janice Barnes and Lolita Booth, both of Biloxi, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
