Herman Lee Sparkman, a beloved member of the Biloxi community and loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 3, 2024, in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was born on April 7, 1950, in Summit, Mississippi. With a career spanning over 45 years in construction at Biloxi Prestressed Concrete, Herman was known for his hard work and dedication.

Herman's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a very strong personality and was a man who could be depended upon. Always quick to lend a helping hand, his laughter filled every room he entered and brought joy to those around him.

Outside of work, Herman found great joy in his hobbies and interests. Fishing was another passion of his that allowed him to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature. In addition to these hobbies, Herman was a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints and cheered for them passionately.

One of Herman's proudest accomplishments was supporting his family so that his wife, Cynthia Sparkman, could be a stay-at-home mother. He took great pride in providing for his family and ensuring their happiness and well-being. His 8 children, brought him immense joy throughout his life. He loved his family more than anything and made countless sacrifices to care for his family.
