Mr. Jerry "Red" Rogers age 57 of Biloxi entered into his eternal rest Friday, October 7, 2011 at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. A longtime resident of Biloxi, Red, was a friend to many. He was known for his great sense of humor and as a people person. A neighborhood handyman and mechanic, Red was often called upon to build or repair just about anything. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never turned down a friend in need. Red will be remembered for his friendly nature and willingness to help those in need. He leaves to cherish his memory his adopted mother, Mrs. Mary Rogers of Memphis, TN; birth mother, Ms. Oweda Johnson of Tennessee; two daughters Ms. Karem Horne of Gulfport, MS; Ms. Quyoa "Coco" Wilkerson of Denver, CO; four sisters, Ms. Sherry Gross, Ms. Tara Fisher, Ms. Patricia Hunter, and Ms Rathel Garret; two brothers, Mr. Elvin R. Oler and Rev. Darryl Atwaters of Fort Worth, TX; cousins, Mrs. Shaddy Bell Vinson of Biloxi, MS; Ms. Dorothy Smith of Gulfport, MS and Mrs. Georgia Faye Dickey of Lucedale, MS; two special friends Mrs. Leaster Archie of Biloxi and Mrs. Fannie Williams of D�Iberville; and a special community of family and friends.
