JoAnn LeDay-Bogan, 62, resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away, March 10, 2015 at her home. She was born in Newton, MS, on December 7, 1952, the daughter of Leroy Bogan and Mary Alice Hardy-Bogan. JoAnn was a homemaker and mother who dedicated her life to raising all of her children under one roof together; she wouldn�t have it any of way. JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Bogan; two sisters Barbara Ann Holmes and Delores Bogan; and three children Rapheal LeDay, Jr.; Earl Bogan and Michelle LeDay. JoAnn is survived by her mother, Mary Alice Bogan, three Brothers Edward (aka Pumpkin) Hinton, Albert (aka Wiggie) Hinton, and Michael Bogan; and two sisters Betty Hinton and Shirley Bogan; and two children, Angela Bogan of Gulfport, MS and Yolanda (Lee) Banks of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter in-law Lori LeDay of Gulfport MS; and ten grandchildren Christopher Bogan, Ashley Bogan, Antonio Bogan, Jermel Bogan, Darius Banks, Devin Mills, Jaylen White, David Simmons, Alonzo Simmons, and Gary Simmons; many great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour before at Greater Grace Apostolic Assembly, Biloxi. The family of Ms. JoAnn LeDay-Bogan has entrusted her care to the professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
