Kalsha Monique Johnson

Kalsha Monique Johnson, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 2, 2023, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She was born on June 24, 1978, in Biloxi, Mississippi. Kalsha will be remembered for her incredible spirit and warm-heartedness and beautiful smile.

From an early age, Kalsha displayed a strong determination and a lively personality that brightened the lives of those around her. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand and was always there for her loved ones. Her contagious laughter and bubbly personality brought joy to everyone she encountered.

Kalsha's passion for cooking was unmatched. Her culinary skills were legendary among family and friends. She had a talent for creating mouthwatering dishes, with her lasagna and gumbo being the highlight of any gathering. The memories of her delicious meals will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to taste them.

After graduating from Biloxi High School, Kalsha embarked on a journey of self-discovery which led her to accept Christ at a young age. Her faith served as a guiding light throughout her life. It provided her with strength during difficult times and shaped her into the compassionate person she became.

In addition to being an exceptional cook, Kalsha had many interests and hobbies that brought her immense joy. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes; she had an impeccable taste that could make anyone envious and would share fashion tips with friends.

However, above all else, Kalsha's proudest accomplishments were her two beautiful daughters, Zhaniya and Serinity. They were the lights of her life and the driving force behind everything she did. Kalsha loved them unconditionally and instilled in them the same values of kindness and strength that she possessed.

Kalsha Monique Johnson leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will continue to live on in the memories of all who knew her. Her infectious spirit and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who had the honor of crossing paths with her.

As we bid farewell to Kalsha, let us celebrate her life, remembering the joy she brought into our lives and the love she shared with everyone around her.

A Memorial Service for Kalsha Johnson will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11:00 am, at DP Nation.
