Katrenia R. Brumfield

Katrenia Rena Brumfield, 56, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on May 4, 2022, in St. Joseph Hospice – Gulfport, MS, from a stroke.

She was born in Hansboro, MS on June 24, 1965, the daughter of Robert Walter Jr. and Josephine A. Brumfield.  Katrenia attended Biloxi High School and graduated in 1983.  She continued her education and after receiving her cosmetologist license she made a career as a Hair Stylist.

Katrenia loved to sing.

Katrenia was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Joseph; her father, Robert Walter Jr.; her grandmother, Elzora Brown; her broher, Ervin Beasley and her uncle Daniel Magee.

Katrenia is survived by 2 sisters LaMonica Beasley and Randa Jackson, one brother Craig Beasley, three nieces, Damonica Beasley, Tiana Phelps Cannon and Jasmine Lawrence; one uncle, Otis (Stephanie) Brumfield, 3 nephews, Davonte Beasley, George Phelps and Marquis Phelps; 8 great nieces, 5 great nephews, a special cousin Dennis Magee and a special friend Yolanda Robinson Osborne.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022, at First Missionary Baptist Church, at 11:00 am.  Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
