Larry Wayne Matthews, Jr. was born March 06, 1987 to the parents of Larry Wayne Matthews, Sr. and Jennifer Marie Matthews in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He departed this life on June 25, 2015. Larry grew up in Moss Point, Mississippi where at an early age he gave his life to Christ. Larry enjoyed playing football, baseball and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Cannon; grandfather, Paul Smith Sr.; great-grand parents, Willie B. and Mattie Butler; aunt, Johnnie Mae Clark; great-aunt, Jermaine Butler Sharp; uncles, Raymond Matthews, Willie J. Smith, Donald R. Smith; and cousins, Jimmy D. and Icis Smith. Larry leaves to mourn his loving mother, Jennifer Marie Matthews; father, Larry Wayne Matthews, Sr.; grandmother, Addie Mae Smith; sisters, Stephanie Marie Matthews, Justice Matthews Biggs (Demarquis); niece, Raven Kennedy; aunts, Marie Matthews Green (Steve), Delphine Remm, Pauline Smith, Belinda Cadaro ; uncles, Michael Cannon, James L. Smith, William D. Smith, Paul E. Smith, Jr., and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and his best-friend Steve Richardson. Services for Larry Wayne Matthews will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 12:00 PM with visitation at 11:00 AM at Meridian Street Church of Christ, Moss Point.
