Lauren Denise Seymour, “Needy” 61, resident of D’Iberville, MS, passed away April 17, 2019.
She was born in Biloxi, MS on October 14, 1957. The daughter of Evelyn Seymour, Needy attended Ocean Springs High School. She went on to become a 1st class shipfitter at Ingalls Shipyard. Later, she continued to work as a seamstress and an executive housekeeper.
Needy was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Lilly Robinson, grandmother, Eloise Wilson, mother, Evelyn Seymour, aunt, Hazel Thurman, and uncle, Murphy Wilson.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memory, three brothers: Tony Floyd, Anthony Seymour, and Gerald Seymour; three children: John Seymour (Tracey Seymour), Lillian Carmichael, and Justin Miller (Antoinette Nolan); eight grandchildren, Adria Sabino, Kyren Seymour, Kelston Seymour, Kailey Seymour, Evelynn Carmichael, Syikeena Jackson, KaMaya Jackson, and Kinley Miller; three aunts: Gwen Seymour, Marion Davis, and Cynthia Fisher; one uncle, Allen Wilson, as well as devoted cousins, Ernestine Underwood, Stephanie Davis and a heap of family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional staff of Richmond August Funeral Home.
