Our beautiful Matriarch, Lillian Mae Page was born in Collins, Mississippi. The daughter of Andrew and Eliza Williams. Lillian was a high school graduate. She was married to Paul Langston May 4, 1942, and later John Wesley Page until his death May 25, 1991.
Lillian spent her working career at Keesler Air Force Base as a housekeeper and later a private housekeeper for forty years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, listening to music, dancing, fashion, and she loved entertaining and being around people. A highlight for Lillian was going back home to Collins to her home church Macedonia Baptist for the yearly revival.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Eliza Williams; her husbands, Paul Langston and John W. Page; Pablo Langston, Melvin Langston; 3 brothers, Onna Meyers, Johnnie Meyers, Ealie Williams; and great-grandchild, Sydnee Hogue.
Lillian is survived by her large and loving family of 3 children Etta B. Alexander, Barbara J. Langston, and Mary Broadnax Smith (Nick); 7 grandkids Cinofia Langston Riley, Patrice Langston, Kimyalia Langston, Kafaren Fairley (Kevin), Yolanda Langston Dawson, Felita Williams, and Sherri Harris (Gerald); 17 great-grandkids; and 17 great great-grandkids; sisters-in-law Liller Barnett and Wilma Page; niece Dorothy Robinson (Frank), great-nephew Frederick McDonald Williams, loving and adopted Hawkins family, Eula Burbridge & Family, Evelyn Blair, Sherece Wheeler, Couleen Joyner and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will begin at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Infinity Funeral Home with visitation one hour before.
