Marc Twain Lemon, 44, a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away, April 25, 2020.
He was born in Gross-Gerau, Hessen, Germany. The son of Kenneth and Ursula Hicks. Marc graduated from Harrison Central High school in1996. He was currently attending Purdue Global University, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Marc served as an investigator at the Beau Rivage Casino. Marc was married to his wife Monica for twenty-one years. He was looking forward to taking her on a cruise to celebrate their 22nd anniversary in August. He was an excellent father to his two girls Aaliyah -18, and Jasmine –14. He had a unique relationship with each of them. Marc and Jasmine shared their love of motorcycles. He called her his “riding buddy!” Aaliyah was called his “Twin.”
When Marc was 18, he visited Abundant Grace Apostolic Assembly, he was invited by his friend Roderick Ellis. At this service, he was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost. This service changed his life and made him the great person we all know and love. Marc, the Oneness Preacher, as his truck tag so eloquently displays, was deeply rooted in the Apostolic Doctrine. He loved his Pastor, Bishop Rick August and First Lady, Evangelist Tammi August, along with his Infinity church family. He was well known in the community and made a lasting influence on those he met.
Marc was a member of CMA, Christian Motorcycle Association, where he served as chaplain. He loved and made an impact on his CMA family. Marc will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh, his ability to make true and long-lasting friendships, his love for the word of God, and Gospel music. He was truly a people’s person and a great man of God.
Marc was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maria Veenstra, his maternal grandfather, Hans Pfleger. His biological father, Jackie Lemon, and his mother-in-law, Patricia Wright and brother in law, Christopher Toliver.
Marc is survived by his wife Monica Lemon, 2 daughters: Aaliyah and Jasmine Lemon. His Mother and Father; Ursula and Kenneth Hicks and 1 sister, Natasha Johnson. His brothers-in-law, Noland (Kathy), Quincy, Dennis (Jackie) Prince (Kayla), and his bonus brother, Larence. He leaves to cherish his memories, his best friend Anthony Thomas, with his wife, Courtney Thomas, and son, Quentin Thomas, and his other best friend Sandi Dedeaux. Also, his entire Infinity church family, CMA family, and his Beau Rivage family.
