Marceille "Marcie" Dagrossa, a vibrant spirit known for her adventurous heart and fearless personality, passed away on February 6, 2025, in Gulfport, MS. Born in Fredericksburg, TX, on September 25, 1964, Marcie was the cherished only daughter in a lively family of seven siblings. In 1972, her family relocated to Mississippi, where she would go on to leave an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Marcie was a force of nature—a spitfire firecracker who never hesitated to speak her mind. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she embarked on a remarkable career as a cosmetologist, dedicating over 30 years to making others feel beautiful. She also held a license in security guard, showcasing her versatility and nerves of steel. Marcie was not only adventurous but also embraced her girly side, skillfully navigating the delicate balance of being both glamorous and gritty. Her positive outlook on life inspired everyone around her, as she consistently encouraged others to find joy, even in the rough patches.

As a loving mother to her two sons, Vincent Rader and the late Dominic, Marcie poured her heart into her family. She relished the joys of motherhood, nurturing her boys with warmth and unwavering support. Marcie’s husband, Matthew Dagrossa, stood by her side as a devoted partner in life’s adventures, sharing in both the laughter and the challenges that came their way.

She leaves behind her beloved brothers—Jason, Gaius, Crispus, Linus, Justus, and Jairus—who will carry her memory and spirit in their hearts. Raised in the Catholic faith, Marcie exemplified the values of love, compassion, and resilience, which she instilled in her family and friends.

Marcie’s legacy is one of joy, adventure, and authenticity. She will be remembered not just for her vibrant personality, but for the profound impact she made on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. The world is a little dimmer without her, but her fiery spirit and unwavering love continue to shine bright in the memories of her family and all who were touched by her extraordinary life.
