Marilyn Eva Jones Coleman

Marilyn Eva Jones-Coleman, 63, a longtime resident of Biloxi, MS, passed into Heaven on July 6, 2020. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela on August 8, 1956. She was the daughter of Charles Evans Jones and Mary Adelaide Cummins-Jones. Marilyn graduated from Fort Davis High School in Fort Davis, Texas in 1974. She was married to the late Smitty Coleman of Biloxi, MS for 13 years. Marilyn was a nurse’s aide, PE teacher for children of special needs and worked in both the hotel and restaurant businesses for many years in Biloxi. She was a competitive swimmer in her youth, enjoyed high school basketball, and loved all animals, especially her dogs and fish. More than anything, she loved her Lord and her family. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her son, Brandon Charles Coleman of Biloxi, as well as her brother, Rob, and sister, Nancy, and their families. Marilyn gave us all the gift of laughter and was deeply loved by her family. Funeral services for Marilyn will be held Saturday, July 11 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon through Infinity Funeral Home in Biloxi.
