Marlon Derwayne Richards, 40, a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away, May 4, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Marlon was born in Kingston, Jamaica, September 8, 1974, to Janet Sullivan Williams. Marlon, also known as �Kirky� and �Richy,� graduated from Arden High School in Kingston. He went on to serve on the Police Force in Jamaica for nearly 10 years. Marlon married the love of his life, his friend and partner Natalie Watson on June 9, 2006. Always a man of action, �Kirky� enlisted in the United States Army in January 2008, where he volunteered to serve as an infantry soldier. He served faithfully and with distinction as he fought in Iraq. He was a man who treasured his family. Among other things, he enjoyed playing video games with his childrenD�Andre and Venesha. Kirky was a sports fanatic. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and soccer, especially the Liverpool Football Club. Marlon is survived by his wife, Natalie Richards; mother, Janet Sullivan Williams;sister Audrey and six brothers, Christopher, Delroy, Nigel, Nyron, Oneal, and Sheldon; and two children, D�Andre Richards and Venesha Richards and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Mr. Richards will be Friday, May 15, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Greater Grace Apostolic Assembly, 394 Forrest Ave,Biloxi,MS 39530.
