Mary Earline Polk 83, resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away, August 27, 2015 at Boyington Nursing Home in Gulfport.�She was born in Gulfport, MS, February 28, 1932, the Daughter of Charles Cook and Anna Marie Brown. Earline attended 33rd Avenue and received her High School Diploma. She was married to Jiles Polk on January 27, 1951. Earline spent her working career at American Linen for 30 years and other Mississippi Laundry Service Centers until she retired in 1994.� Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Jiles Polk.; sisters, Cynthia Albert and Antonia Spencer; brothers, Edward and Clarence Cook; sons, Kevin and Jiles (Junebug) Polk Jr.; daughters, Renee Williams and Deborah Herrien; and great granddaughter, Dashantia Walker. Earline is survived by her children, Marion Charles Magee, Sandy Polk, Lucinda Polk; and a host of other relatives and friends.� Funeral services for Mary Earline Polk will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 with visitation one hour before at Mount Bethel Baptist Church, 2100 30th Avenue Gulfport, MS 39501.
