Mary Whittle

Mary Louise McClain Whittle, 64, a resident of Vancleave, MS, passed away at Ocean Springs Hospital, January 25, 2016. Mary, AKA “Mary Louise”, “Mrs. Mary”, “Aunt Mary”, “Mama Mary”, “Weezy”, “Louise”, “Gee” and “Mama,” was born June 16, 1951, to the late Emmanuel “Blackboot” Alford and Lucille McClain in Vancleave, MS. She married Eli Whittle, Jr., at the age of eighteen. They celebrated their 47th Year anniversary on December 20, 2015. Mary was employed by E. R. Moore Company, Howard Memorial Hospital, Ocean Springs Hospital, (from which she retired), Singing River Hospital and Walmart. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband Eli Whittle, Jr.; her children: Steveon (Natasha) Whittle and Tracy “Sabrina” Whittle; grandchildren: Steveon Whittle, Jr., Nadiya Whittle and Amari Whittle-Webb; a host of family, friends and co-workers whom she loved dearly.
