Michael Daniels

Mr. Michael Anthony �Squat� Daniels was born in Gulfport, MS on October 27, 1964 to Wendell Daniels, Sr. and the late Wyvonne �Toosie Pat� Husbands. Michael attended Gulfport City Schools and MGCCC Perkinston Campus. He was employed by the City of Gulfport Utility Partners for 17 years, until his untimely passing. Everyone who knew Mike knew to expect a good time and lots of laughter. He loved sports, especially his Gulfport Admirals, and looked forward to fishing with his daddy and Coach Floyd. �Big Mike� had a big heart and will be truly missed by many. Michael was called to eternal rest on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, his maternal grandmother, Hattie Dean; and paternal grandparents, Eddie Mack Daniels and Lena Bell Walker. Michael leaves to cherish his precious memories, his father, Wendell (Judy) Daniels, Sr.; his grandfather, John �Papa� Dean; two brothers, Wendell �Moses� (Felecia) Daniels, Jr.; and Gary Holloway; one sister, Mavis Daniels all of Gulfport, MS; three step-brothers, Robert Taylor of Ocean Springs, MS; Milton Marshall, Jr. of Moss Point, MS; and Jermaine (LaToya) Marshall of Gulfport, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation from 10:00AM � 12:00PM with service beginning at noon. The family of Mr. Michael Anthony �Squat� Daniels has entrusted his services to the caring, professional staff of Richmond-August Funeral Home.
