Michael Williams, 65, a resident of Gulfport, passed away on 10/01/21 in his favorite place at home.
He was born in New Orleans on August 22, 1956, the son of Denny Williams and Pauline Fleming.
Michael was married to his love Cindy Williams on 02/13/1993 at a small chapel on the beach in Biloxi.
Michael worked for Warren Paving as a “roller man” for 20 years. He took pride in his work and loved showing off his work all over the coast.
Mike is preceded in death by his mom and dad Denny and Pauline; and his sister Linda.
Mike is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cindy Williams; brother Marvin Williams (Pam); children, Travis Carney, Traci Aylward (Richie) and Michael Williams (Veronica); grandchildren, Christian and Sophia Aylward; life long friend Randy Stinnett as well as many more family and friends.
Mike enjoyed living his life on the coast. His love for the water and his boats were like no other. He was his happiest while pulling those nets. His love for shrimping took him and his lifelong friend Randy all the way to Tennessee. This is where he met his “little momma” and from there, their love blossomed where they spent most of their time on the water.
Mike never met a stranger, from being at the harbors with his fellow boat lovers, shopping in the local hardware stores and car dealerships, or just stopping by the local country store picking up his Gatorade’s and southern cooked food. Not only will he truly be missed, but so will those long phone conversations and voicemails.
You are loved, all day, every day.
Celebration of life will be privately held at a later date.
