On July 24, 2021, Nicholas Darnell Pittman was called to eternal rest. Nick, as affectionally known by family and friends, was born April 16, 1985, in Gulfport, Ms to the late Sammie Lee Carter and Patricia Ann Pittman-Carter.
Nicholas was a loving and caring person. He loved and protected his family. He enjoyed making people laugh by cracking jokes. Nicholas was very energetic and thriving, was there for everybody that needed him. Even though his life was short with us, the impact that he made will live forever in our hearts.
Nicholas was a graduate of Harrison Central High School class of 2004. Nicholas loved playing football and basketball. He worked many jobs, but he admired being a security, protecting those that he loved. Nicholas was a member of Prophetic & Deliverance Ministries where his baby brother was his pastor. He really enjoyed church and receiving a WORD from the Lord.
Nicholas was proceeded in death by both parents Sammie & Patricia Pittman-Carter. Paternal grandparents Sam & Annie Bell Carter, maternal grandparents Luvern Sr. & Mary White-Pittman, special cousin Erriel Marie Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life Tamika Coleman. Three sons Louis Gipson (Lil Nick), Anthony Coleman, JaQuan Coleman, Two daughters Destiny Perkins and Niyah Buckley, One sister Stacy Luvern Pittman: Two brothers Jacobi Roman Pittman, Cordero DeMontra (Kirsten) Pittman: Six nieces Ravynn Pittman, Alani Pittman, Kourtney Pittman, Lauren Polk, Au’Tallulah Lewis, and A’Mah Lewis. Five Nephews Rayshun Pittman, Jacobi Pittman Jr. Jakari Pittman, Jace Pittman, and Jakazi Pittman, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral service for Nicholas Pittman will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11:00 am at Grace Temple Baptist Church. Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
