Pastor Glenn Johnson, age 75, resident of D’Iberville, Mississippi, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023, at his home. 

He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 29, 1948, the son of Leon Johnson and Shirley Durden. 

Pastor Johnson attended and graduated from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida and soon after, enlisted in the United States Air Force; he then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree (European Division) from the University of Maryland, a Master of Arts in Faith-Based Crisis Counseling from the Institute for Teaching God’s Word Theological Seminary, Rockdale, Texas. 

Pastor Johnson was married to Carolyn Weathersby on January 29, 1972. 

Pastor Johnson spent his working career as an Active-Duty member of the United States Air Force working in Accounting and Finance. After retiring from Active-Duty, he continued to work as a Civil Service employee at Keesler Air Force Base as an Instructor of Accounting & Finance for officers. 

Pastor Johnson was the founding pastor of ‘Family of Faith’ Christian Church, Woolmarket Mississippi.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling and playing a good round of golf.

Pastor Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Johnson, and Shirley Durden.

Pastor Johnson is survived by his wife, Carolyn W. Johnson; 2 Children Edrick D. Johnson and Rachelle D. Johnson, 1 Grandson, Kaelan X. Love; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The viewing for Pastor Johnson will be from 9:00-11:00am Thursday, January 4, 2024, with the funeral services to be held at 11:00am, Cedar Lake Christian Assembly, Biloxi, Mississippi.
