Pedro “Juan Tinita” Mercedes Felix, 58, a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away, June 13th, 2020 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital from liver cancer. He was born in Batey Higueral, La Romana, Dominican Republic, October 17th, 1962, son of Pedro Mercedes & Justina Felix Hernandez. “Juan Tinita” spent his working career as a professional musician and a construction worker for Tedesco Construction Company. Juan Tinita enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing and playing his musical instruments. Juan Tinita was preceded in death by: Brother Federico Mercedes Felix, and Son Peter Felix. Juan Tinita is survived by 10 siblings: Johnny, Rene, Goliat, Carlos, Eddy, Sergio, Belkis, Mari, Marcia, and Helena; 4 Children: Coral, Karianni, Ingrid, and Erick; 5 grandchildren: Carlito, Alan, Nashla, Nelson, and Dorcelis; 19 nieces and nephews: Junior, Walber, Melguin, Liz, Thalia, Edwind, Joel, Jhoanna, Tinita, Tagui, Geon, Titico, Jade Gael, and Melvin, Jonathan, Joel Eddy Junior, Yuli Angela, Yeraimis, and Chante; and a host of relatives and friends.
