Peter M. Pollard

Peter M. Pollard, 63, a resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away on 2 February 2021. He was born in Biloxi, MS, the son of James and Bettye Pollard. Peter attended Our Mother of Sorrows, A.M.E. Perkins Elementary, M.F. Nichols Junior High, and graduated from Biloxi High School in 1977. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bettye Pollard; Grandparents, Leonard and Frances Burney, and Kenneth and Yvonne Pollard. He is survived by his wife, Jannie Pollard; 2 brothers, Paul (Anne) Pollard and James (Ionie) Pollard; 6 children, Lorenzo (Teena) Belk, Monica Moore, DeJuante Bullock, Jeremy Wallace, Vauldanez Stewart, and Darrion (Natika) McInnis; 14 Grandchildren, Mykeiah Alston, Xavior Moore, Jada Bullock, Zahara Marie, Amera Bailey, Jason Powe, Lorenzo Belk Jr., Jermeinig Wallace, Jeremy Wallace, Jay’Den Wallace, Ian Stewart, Khloe Kelly, and Dillan McInnis; 1 Great Grandchild, Jadavion Bullock; 4 God Children, Lashunda Davis, Nicholas Turner, Semaj Mitchell and Ramon Fisher. Peter was a proud member of the Second Liners Mardi Gras Club and enjoyed sharing moments and activities with his Aunt Geraldine Jackson and lifelong friends. He was truly blessed by the gift of extended family; Mother-in-law, Minnie Smith and other in-laws; Alice (John Turner), Harry (Pam) McInnis, Stanley (T’Vchete) Smith, Shelia Floyd, Cynthia (Alfonzo) Butler, Eraka (Leon) Joyce, Tamika James, Audrey (Ralph) Beard, and a host of other relatives and friends who without question, enhanced his life. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M-12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Infinity Funeral Home with a private service following.
