Preston F. Robertson

Preston Frank Robertson, 34, departed this life on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was born on July 29, 1988, to Mike Robertson and Yonna Carman. He was a 2007 graduate of Calhoun City High School. Preston had since worked and acquired many skills including electrical, welding, and pipefitting. He was employed as an Outside Plant Technician for AT&T. 

Preston had an infectious laugh that spread like wildfire to anyone around him. Everyone that knew him was impacted by his big heart and loving nature. He was an avid music lover and rarely missed an opportunity to stand behind a microphone and sing his favorite songs. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, cooking/grilling, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roland “Pete” Robertson, and his brother, Nicholas “Bubba” Robertson. 

He is survived by his children, Cayden Robertson, Rhett Robertson Barrett, and Paisley Robertson; parents, Mike (Kim) Robertson and Yonna (Rodney) Carman; grandparents, Sarah Upchurch, Helen Beaver, and Kenneth Byrd; siblings, Adam Robertson, Juston Robertson, Jacob Robertson, Zachary Robertson, Sarah Robertson Carter, Greg Carman, and Brittany Carman; and a number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his significant other, Marjorie Mercer, and her daughter, Emry Mercer, who he loved as his own.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 187 Highway 28 W, Georgetown, MS 39078.
