Randy Joe Rainey, Sr.

Mr. Randy Joe Rainey Sr. was called to Heaven from his home in Ocean Springs Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the young age of 66, with his family at his bedside. Joe worked at AT&T in Ocean Springs for 32 years before retiring in 2003. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR races. Randy Joe was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Shirley Rainey and two sisters, Roberta Redmond and Judy Rainey. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Pam Rainey, brother, Thurman Rainey; half-brother Richard Burns children; Jimmy Hughes, Donna Bonds, Daryl Hughes Randy Rainey Jr., Jamie Ladd and Jonathan Rainey, and 6 wonderful grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been set up in his name at Keesler Federal Credit Union to help cover unforeseen medical & funeral expenses. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Windsor Park, 6108 Washington Ave. Ocean Springs, MS from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. The family will host a Prayer Service following. The family of Mr. Randy J. Rainey, Sr. has entrusted his care to the caring, professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
