Samuel Q. Reynolds Jr., age 82, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 in Arcadia, FL. Samuel was born December 6, 1929 in Arcadia, FL. He retired as an aircraft mechanic for Pan American Airlines after 30 years of faithful service. Samuel was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was the recipient of two Purple Hearts awarded him for his service to his country. Samuel left Arcadia in the early 1950's after the war to begin his career with Pan AM. He returned to Arcadia in 1996. He loved fishing, hunting, watching football, and spending time with his family. Samuel was a member of the Korean War Brotherhood and the Fort Ogden United Methodist Church. Survivors are his two daughters, Monteal Reynolds, FL, Sheila (Darrell) Smith, LA, a son, James (Sunny) Reynolds, FL, a brother, John(Forrest), Reynolds, FL, and a sister, June Fulton, FL, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a long time companion, Mrs. Edna Dees, FL. The family will receive visitors from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Greater Grace Apostolic Assembly, 394 Forrest Avenue in Biloxi, Mississippi; interment to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
