Sharhonda S. Fant

Sharhonda S. Fant was born July 8, 1971, to Ruby Jewel Treadwell and Anthony Neal Fant Sr., of Gulfport, MS. Sharhonda grew up in the North Gulfport community and attended the Harrison County school district, where she ran track and field up until her 11th-grade year. She was a lifelong member of the Greater MT Olive Baptist Church in Gulfport MS. Sharhonda was a beloved mother who enjoyed the simple things in life! She loved her children and family dearly! She enjoyed eating out and gossiping on the phone every morning at 6 am with her aunt and daughter! She was always the life of the party! After a long battle with sickness, Sharhonda departed this earthly life on August 20, 2021, at Merit Health Hospital in Biloxi, MS. She was preceded in death by her brothers Douglas West of Milwaukee, WI, Anthony Neal Fant Jr., of Gulfport MS. 8-month-old granddaughter, Cherish Fant of Gulfport, MS; and grandparents Sam and Mildred May of Gulfport MS. Sharhonda leaves to cherish her memories, her lifelong partner of 20 years Larry Williams; two daughters, Robin (Chad) Jack and Amber (Kenneth) Brassell, both of Gulfport, MS; one son, Kendrell Johnson of Honolulu, Hawaii; two brothers, Regginald (Cynthia) Treadwell Sr., of Gulfport, MS; Kenneth (Jamie) Moten of Jacksonville FL; one sister Kesha Johnson of Hattiesburg MS; two grandchildren; her Beloved aunt, Verhonda Tims of Gulfport, MS, and A host of nieces nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
