Vanessa Eady Larkin Jackson, 66, a resident of Gulfport, passed away on April 29, 2024, at Merit Health in Biloxi, MS.

Vanessa was born in Biloxi, MS on December 6, 1957. Vanessa was the daughter of Odessa Holloway and Joe Pritchett. Vanessa was adopted and raised form birth by  Carzeta Eady and Maudine (Goudy) Eady. Vanessa was married to Darius Jackson on February 12, 2010.

Vanessa loved to entertain. She started her own company TLC productions. For the past few years her birthday parties have been an amazing production.

Vanessa is survived by her husband, Darius Jackson, her daughter Marsha (Kendell) Gullette and 3 grandchildren, Jazman (Christopher) King of Biloxi, MS, Lee King, Jr. of Gulfport, MS, Arthur (Ashia) Brooks of Biloxi, MS, and preceeded in death by her granddaughter Tammara King. Vanessa was close to her cousin Lorna Chatman Jackson and friend Jeannetta Smith and a host of relatives and friends.

Vanessa has 2 brothers, L. Holloway, Gregory Pritchett, Jackson, MS, 2 sisters Lillian Pritchett, Biloxi, MS and Jacqueline Van Hook, Jackson, MS

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Christian Love Church of the Living God, in Moss Point, at 2:00 pm. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm.
