Ve'Rhonda Ann Tims was born September 8, 1953, in Gulfport, MS, to the late Boisie Treadwell and Mildred May.
Mrs. Tims was a lifetime member of The Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from North Gulfport High School 'Class of 71'. She took pride in being a NG Wild Cat!
Mrs.Tims worked hard to provide for the family she created, she started her career at Kessler Air Force Base in 1977, where she dedicated 32 years of service. She retired in October 2009, to relax, unwind, and enjoy the fruits of her labor.
Mrs.Tims was a devoted wife and mother, she united in Holy matrimony to the love of her life Elbert Tims in July of 1985 and started a family of their own. Together they created one child, Shatara Marie Tims, whom they both loved dearly, and she gained one bonus daughter Regina Gulledge. They worked hand in hand to provide their children up until his transition of death in 2004, she carried the torch to the finish line.
Nene was so full of life, and wisdom. She loved being in the comfort of her home and around her family. She was the most charitable person you could meet, always putting others before herself.
On September 30, 2023, God had other plans. He whispered in her ear “Servant Job Well Done."
