Warren E. Mitchell, A native of Daytona Beach, FL, a resident of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away at the age of 62 on Friday, November 17, 2017 at his home.
Warren E. Mitchell was born in Volusia County, FL on August 15, 1955 to his parents Leo Mitchell & Dorothy E. Jones.
Warren attended Bethune- Cookman College, and was a part of the band as a trumpet player. Warren spent the bulk of his career as a bus driver; he retired from Greyhound Motors. Warren loved kids, he was a kid at heart; he loved gardening, fishing, listening to jazz music, watching sports, especially the New Orleans Saints; he also enjoyed cooking and baking! He was famous for his Rum Cakes, BBQ Ribs, greens and Ox Tails.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents Leo Mitchell and Dorothy E. Jones Mitchell.
Warren leaves to cherish his memories the person he called his significant other-Mildred H. Rose, His children: Warren Jr., Dorothy, and Joshua Mitchell. Siblings: Glen Mitchell, Leon Kearse (Wife Dorothy), Allen Ragan, Wayne Mitchell, and Cordell Thornton. His grandchildren:

Funeral Services for Warren E. Mitchell will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Richmond-August Funeral Home Chapel, 184 Main Street, Biloxi, MS 39530. Viewing 9:30 a.m. until start of service. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, 4111 Bienville Blvd. Ocean Springs, MS 39564
